How you can help yourself have a healthy divorce

Going through a divorce can seemingly turn anyone's life upside down.   3. Do not forget about your overall health. Exercising, eating right, participating in hobbies and taking the time for things you enjoy can help prevent you from having an unhealthy or obsessive focus on the divorce.
  4. Think about your needs and your ex's needs. You certainly want to obtain a favorable outcome to your case, but you may want to remember that your ex has needs to meet as well and that trying to get everything for yourself may not contribute to a healthy divorce.
